MANILA, Philippines — In their first encounter against their former head coach, the De La Salle University Green Archers emerged victorious. The Green Archers clobbered the University of Santo Tomas — now mentored by former La Salle coach Aldin Ayo — with a score of 99-72 on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena. The result put the Green Archers back on the winning track after a loss to University of the Philippines in their previous game. They now have a 3-2 win-loss record. Meanwhile, it was the third straight defeat for Ayo and the Growling Tigers.
