Cecile Licad is a globally renowned “Steinway artist.” She played on a Steinway B-211 grand piano – a masterfully crafted German-made instrument with uncompromising sound. The very piano that she played on was on sale that evening with a good discount. Gloria Angara, Rep. Imelda Marcos, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra Society Inc. president & co-producer of the concert Nedy Tantoco and Patrick Jacinto. Co-produced by Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra Society president Zenaida Tantoco along with Amelita Guevara and her son Chips, the special performance was made possible through Philippine Airlines and the PAL Foundation as they fly Cecile from NYC roundtrip for this event to let Filipinos once again enjoy and revel in her talent.
