Spread some sunshine like Taylor wearing Erdem
Taylor Swift is on the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone magazine, and she’s making quite the bold statement.
The songstress had stylist to the stars Leith Clark on hand to help dress her in a colourful explosion of pieces by Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Erdem. She teased the latter designer’s Resort ’20 collection by donning their silk-satin mini dress with Jessica McCormack ‘Wing of Desire’ earrings to complete the look… and that famous red lip of course!
Tailored to perfection, the dress plays on the label’s penchant for Victorian-inspired silhouettes, but it modernised with the daffodil shade and contrasting red band on the waist. Scattered in placements to finish the look is embellished florals that will no doubt sparkle under the spotlight if you wear this dress at a lavish event.
Sadly, it’s not yet available to buy so whilst you wait check out the alternatives we’ve rounded up below. From In The Style to Asos and Rasario we’ve covered every budget so you can take on Taylor’s look.

Although their feud goes back 10 years, it made headlines again when Kanye released the song Famous, which featured the lyrics: ’For all my South Side n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous’.
Revealing why she took such offence, Taylor told the magazine: ’The world didn’t understand the context and the events that led up to it. Because nothing ever just happens like that without some lead-up.
‘Some events took place to cause me to be p***ed off when [Kanye] called me a b***h. That was not just a singular event. Basically, I got really sick of the dynamic between he and I…’
No stone left unturned: The stunning singer, 29, also discussed her fractious relationship with Katy Perry , self-doubt, and her relationship with Joe Alwyn
She continued: ‘I started to feel like we reconnected, which felt great for me — because all I ever wanted my whole career after that thing happened in 2009 [VMAs] was for him to respect me.
‘When someone doesn’t respect you so loudly and says you literally don’t deserve to be here — I just so badly wanted that respect from him, and I hate that about myself, that I was like, ‘This guy who’s antagonizing me, I just want his approval.’ But that’s where I was.’
The singer revealed that they formed a friendship, heading to dinners together and Kanye would compliment her on her music, which felt like he was ‘healing her childhood rejection’.
Candid: Taylor also explained that she struggles to process her emotions as she discussed lashing out and writing ‘bitter’ poems about her experiences
However, she felt let down when the 2015 VMAs occurred, as she claimed the rapper asked her to present him with the Vanguard Award, as it would ‘mean so much’ to him, only to announce on stage that MTV made the decision in order to boost ratings.
Taylor recalled: ‘I’m standing in the audience with my arm around his wife, and this chill ran through my body. I realized he is so two-faced.
‘That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk s**t. And I was so upset. He wanted me to come talk to him after the event in his dressing room. I wouldn’t go.’

However, Kanye sent flowers to the pop sensation by way of apology, and Taylor vowed to ‘move past’ the incident.
With their friendship already rocky, she then learned about the dig he had made at her in his hit, Famous, which later culminated in a giant Twitter war between Kanye and Taylor fans.
Kanye defended the line, claiming he had a conversation with Taylor about the lyrics in question, and after the singer accused him of lying, his wife Kim Kardashian released a partial recording of the conversation in question.
‘I’m really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song. It’s just a really cool thing to do, and a really good show of friendship’ Taylor is heard saying.
Taylor disputed the pair’s recount of events, however, telling the magazine: ‘He gets on the phone with me, and I was so touched that he would be respectful and, like, tell me about this one line in the song.
‘[The line being ‘… me and Taylor might still have sex’.] And I was like, ‘OK, good. We’re back on good terms.’ And then when I heard the song, I was like, ‘I’m done with this. If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it.”

Taylor Swift and Kanye West: A look back at their 10 years of Bad Blood
Taylor Swift has hinted that she will never make amends with Kanye West as she branded him ‘two-faced’ and claimed that she used to seek approval from him when he disrespected her.
Now MailOnline has taken a look back at the decade-long feud that appears to show no signs of being resolved anytime soon.
Although the pair’s feud came to a head in 2016 with an all-out Twitter war that saw Taylor and Kanye fans divided, the pair’s falling out is far more complicated than it once appeared to be.
You Need To Calm Down: Taylor Swift has hinted that she will never make amends with Kanye West as she branded him ‘two-faced’ amid their decade-long feud
The feud begins, seemingly out of the blue, when 19-year-old Taylor was at the MTV Video Music Awards, accepting the Best Female Video award for You Belong with Me.
Suddenly, in the middle of her acceptance speech, Kanye jumped on the stage, grabbed the microphone out of her hands and bellowed: ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!’
In a bid to diffuse the tension, Beyonce later called Taylor up on stage when she won Video of the Year for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), and allowed the country music star a moment in the spotlight.
A year after the infamous incident, Kanye apologises in a lengthy tweet, as he penned ‘I’m sorry, Taylor/ We’re both artists, and the media and managers are trying to get between us.
‘She deserves the apology more than anyone. Thank you [Twitter co-founders] Biz Stone and Evan Williams for creating a platform where we can communicate directly.
Bad Blood: The feud begins when Taylor, 19, was at the 2009 VMAs accepting the Best Female Video award and Kanye interrupts claiming Beyonce deserved the gong
Kanye backtracks on his apology, claiming that interrupting Taylor was ‘selfless’ as she didn’t deserve to win, and adding that she was exploiting the incident for publicity
The pair appear to be on better terms, as they’re spotted giving each other a high five at the Met Gala.
Kanye reignites their feud by claiming ‘I don’t have one regret,’ over crashing Taylor’s VMA’s win, telling The New York Times that he didn’t want to apologise, but only tweeted as a result of ‘peer pressure’.
Everything Has Changed: A year after the infamous incident, Kanye apologises in a lengthy tweet claiming ‘I take the responsibility’
Two years on, it appears all bad blood is lost, as Kanye reveals he wants to collaborate with the songstress, telling Ryan Seacrest ‘She wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in.
‘I don’t have an elitism about music, I don’t discriminate.’
Their reconciliation is short-lived, as Kanye humiliates Taylor at the 2015 VMAs after she presented him with the Video Vanguard Award.
It appeared the pair were getting on, and Kanye seemed to be joking by announcing ‘You know how many times they announced Taylor was going to give me the award ’cause it got them more ratings?’
However, Taylor has since announced that his statement truly irked her, as he made out in public that it was for ratings, but in private, asked her to be on stage with him as it would ’mean so much’.
Taylor told Rolling Stone in 2019: ’I’m standing in the audience with my arm around his wife, and this chill ran through my body. I realized he is so two-faced.
‘That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk s**t. And I was so upset.’

Taylor accepts Kanye’s apology after he sends her a giant arrangement of flowers, with the singer jokingly offering to be his running mate in the next Presendential election.
Sharing a snap of the bouquet, she penned: ‘Awww Kanye sent me the coolest flowers!! #KanTay2020 #BFF’.
Taylor and Kanye’s feud reaches its most explosive point to date as Kanye references the star in the lyrics of his hit, Famous.
Taylor took offense at the rapper’s lyric: ‘For all my South Side n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous’.
Kanye defended the line, claiming he had a conversation with Taylor about the lyrics in question.
Kanye releases the music video for Famous, which depicts a naked Taylor lying in his bed next to him, with nude Kim on the other side.
Other nude celebrities who make an appearance in the fictional bedroom setting are Rihanna, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Caitlyn Jenner, George W Bush, Anna Wintour, Ruby Rose, Ray J and Bill Cosby.

Taylor continues to accuse Kanye of lying about asking her permission to reference her in his lyrics, so Kim released a partial recording of the conversation in question.
‘I’m really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song. It’s just a really cool thing to do, and a really good show of friendship’ Taylor is heard saying.
Taylor hits back, claiming that although Kanye spoke through some aspects of the lyrics, she did not consent to being referred to as a ‘b***h’ in the song,
After that Taylor said she felt publicly shamed and ‘cancelled,’ most of he 2017 album Reputation was aimed at her experience during the ordeal.

Kim’s fans mark the year anniversary of ‘National Snake Day’, when the reality star released the recording of Taylor.
Taylor deletes her social media content with the exception of sharing several snake videos on her Instagram.
She then releases the first single from her sixth album, Reputation, Look What You Made Me Do, a clear dig at Kanye and Kim.
Not-so subtle lyrics include ‘I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play / Of the fool / No, I don’t like you /I’m sorry. The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead!’
Taylor dubs Kim and Kanye ’bullies’ who started an internet hate campaign against her.
She tells Elle magazine: ‘I’ve come to see that bullies want to be feared and taken seriously. A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet.
‘The fact that so many people jumped on board with it led me to feeling lower than I’ve ever felt in my life.’
Monster: A social media campaign of hate took off in 2016 when Kim and Taylor went head to head in a dispute over Kanye West’s song lyrics about the singer
Taylor dregs up the feud again as she discusses the extreme ‘isolation’ she felt and attacks she endured in the weeks after Kim likened her to a snake.
She went on to state: ‘When you say someone is canceled, it’s not a TV show. It’s a human being. You’re sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as, kill yourself.’

Taylor also accused Kanye of giving the same treatment to Drake, who the rapper has also been feuding with for years.
She reasoned: ‘It’s the same thing. Getting close to you, earning your trust, detonating you.
‘I really don’t want to talk about it anymore because I get worked up, and I don’t want to just talk about negative s**t all day, but it’s the same thing.’

Though their feud goes back to a stage rush and ‘Taylor, I’m gonna let you finish,’ it hit its peak back in 2016 when Kim dropped the secret Taylor recording on ‘National Snake Day.’
After that Taylor said she felt publicly shamed and ‘cancelled,’ and most of her 2017 album Reputation was aimed at her experience during the ordeal.
Some fans have also claimed that the first track in her new album Lover, I Forgot You Existed, is a dig at the star, with the lyrics including: ‘And I couldn’t get away from ya, In my feelings more than Drake, so yeah / But then something happened one magical night, I forgot that you existed… It isn’t love, it isn’t hate, it’s just indifference.’

Although there doesn’t seem to be much hope in Taylor and Kanye making amends anytime soon, the star revealed why she was able to reconcile with Katy Perry.
The singers were embroiled in a feud since Taylor claimed the Bon Appetit singer stole three of her backing dancers from her Red tour in 2012.
Yet the pair shocked fans when they appeared together dressed as a burger and fries in the music video for Taylor’s LGBT anthem, You Need To Calm Down, earlier in this year.
The Bad Blood hitmaker previously revealed: ‘We reconnected a while ago. It started when [Katy] sent an olive branch to, like an actual olive branch to my tour – on the first day of my Reputation Stadium tour and I was like, that is not only really cool and really sincere, the note but like, very clever with sending an actual olive branch.’
Frenemies: Although there doesn’t seem to be much hope in Taylor and Kanye making amends anytime soon, the star revealed why she was able to reconcile with Katy Perry (pictured 2011)
Discussing what sparked their ongoing feud, she told Rolling Stone: ‘Katy and I were talking about our signs… [Laughs] Of course we were… We were talking about our signs because we had this really, really long talk when we were reconnecting and stuff.
‘And I remember in the long talk, she was like, ‘If we had one glass of white wine right now, we’d both be crying.’ Because we were drinking tea. We’ve had some really good conversations. We were talking about how we’ve had miscommunications with people in the past, not even specifically with each other.
‘She’s like, ‘I’m a Scorpio. Scorpios just strike when they feel threatened.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I’m an archer. We literally stand back, assess the situation, process how we feel about it, raise a bow, pull it back, and fire.’
‘So it’s completely different ways of processing pain, confusion, misconception. And oftentimes I’ve had this delay in feeling something that hurts me and then saying that it hurts me.’
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry: A timeline of their feud
Pop stars Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have officially ended their feud. Now, MailOnline has taken a look back at their fallout, from ‘stealing’ back-up dancers to subtle digs and diss tracks.
The pop stars have been crossing paths for many years, and the pair even seemed to be friends for a while, gladly posing for photos together.
But the singers were embroiled in a feud since Taylor claimed the Bon Appetit singer stole three of her backing dancers from her Red tour in 2012.

TMZ reports that the feud between the performers ignited when three of Taylor’s dancers quit to join Katy’s Prismatic World Tour.
Taylor releases the single Bad Blood, which was believed to be about her bitter fallout with Katy.
Added fuel to the fire, in a now infamous interview with Rolling Stone Taylor admits that the track was about a female musician – and ‘straight-up enemy.’
She tells the publication: ‘For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not.
‘She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, “Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?”
‘Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible, I was like, “Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.” And it wasn’t even about a guy!
‘It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.’
After Taylor’s interview is published, Katy tweets with a possible slant in Swift’s direction: ‘Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,’ referring to Rachel McAdams’ bitchy character in Mean Girls.

Katy reveals she would consider working with Taylor if her not-so-secret longtime nemesis apologies.
When a fan on Twitter asked, ‘will you collab with Taylor Swift?[sic],’ without missing a beat, Katy responded: ‘If she says sorry, sure!’
Katy seemingly retaliates to Taylor’s Bad Blood track with single Swish Swish, which is also reportedly about their feud.
There are plenty of references to Taylor all over the track: The most obvious one is that she calls her rival basketball team the Sheeps.
The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker makes it clear she was not going to back down from their very public spat, singing: ‘Ur game is tired, you should retire.’
Lyrics include the lines, ‘Don’t lose no sleep/Don’t need opinions/From a selfish or a sheep/Don’t you come for me/No, not today/You’re calculated I got your number.’
In the track’s music video, Nicki Minaj pops up (wearing what looks like a Bad Blood costume) to make it clear she is on Team Perry.
Hitting out: Katy compounds her ongoing feud with Taylor, days after calling on the singer to settle a fallout sparked by a row over three backing dancers
Speaking about her new single Swish Swish in relation to the fallout, Katy tells James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke: ‘That’s true, there is a situation. Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it.’
Katy claims she ‘tried to talk’ to the blonde beauty about the feud some time ago, but claims she ‘wouldn’t speak’ to her.
‘She wouldn’t speak to me. I do the right thing anytime that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I’m like ‘OK, cool, cool, cool. That’s how you wanna deal with it?”
The hitmaker admits that her single Swish Swish is a direct ‘reaction’ to Taylor’s, as she says the star has to learn about ‘the law of cause and effect’.
Katy insists that her old friend should be first to apologise, and believes she was wrong to document their fallout so publicly.
She tells NME: ’I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That’s so messed up!’
Just weeks later, Katy announces she wants to finally end her three-year feud with pop rival Taylor Swift during her promotional ‘Witness World Wide’ livestream.
‘I am ready to let it go! ’I forgive, I forgive, I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I think it’s time.
‘There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying? And I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter,’ Katie told Thrive Global Podcast’s Arianna Huffington.
Later that month, Katy’s frenemy frustration is rehashed, yet again, when Taylor releases her entire back catalogue to all streaming services the same day as Katy’s fifth studio album Witness.
The 32-year-old Swish Swish songstress told Thrive Global Podcast’s Arianna Huffington (L): ’I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her’
Taylor seemingly takes aim at Katy again in her Look What You Made Me Do music video which was released in August 2017.
The reputation hitmaker dons a blonde bob and crashes her car in the music video as she looks eerily similar to the Dark Horse songstress.
Ahead of Taylor’s first Reputation World Tour concert in Phoenix, Arizona, the Firework singer sends her a hand written note as well as a symbolic olive branch.
Taylor publishes the letter on Instagram, six years after they began a public pop feud over backing dancers.
Katy’s letter reads: ‘Hey old friend, I’ve being doing some reflecting on our miscommunications and though feelings between us.’
On posting the contents of an envelope sealed with a puppy dog sticker, Taylor makes it very clear who it was from, writing ’Thank you Katy’ in red with pink hearts.
There it is: The white note with black writing and a dog sticker on the back was from her arch enemy Katy Perry, who the blonde Look What You Made Me Do signer had been feuding with for a staggering six years
Katy though is once again ‘upset’ at Taylor, for going public with the apology letter that suggests the Firework singer ‘accepts sole responsibility’ for their six year feud.
‘Katy expected that Taylor would post something about it,’ a friend told The Sun Online . ‘But she didn’t expect the actual letter to go on social,’ says her friend.
‘The thing is, you can only see part of what Katy wrote and it looks like she’s taking sole responsibility for the entire feud.
‘Without context, it looks like she’s taking the blame for everything and obviously there’s a lot more to it than that.’
Katy confirms hints that feud with Taylor is over as she shows support for her political posts concerning LGBT rights.
The Fireworks hitmaker was one of the first to ‘like’ the Delicate singer’s Instagram post after she broke her silence on politics.
Speaking to Variety on the amfAR Gala carpet, when asked why she supported the post, Katy responded: ‘Because she’s setting such a great example.’

Beef-free: Dressed as a burger and fries, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry FINALLY end their feud as they hug in the music video for LGBT anthem You Need To Calm Down
Yet when Taylor does feel hurt, the emotion cuts deep, as she admits there have been times when she has considered quitting the music industry entirely.
She confessed: ‘I definitely thought about that a lot. I thought about how words are my only way of making sense of the world and expressing myself — and now any words I say or write are being twisted against me.
‘People love a hate frenzy. It’s like piranhas. People had so much fun hating me, and they didn’t really need very many reasons to do it. I felt like the situation was pretty hopeless. I wrote a lot of really aggressively bitter poems constantly. I wrote a lot of think pieces that I knew I’d never publish, about what it’s like to feel like you’re in a shame spiral.’
Made for each other: The pair shocked fans when they appeared together as a burger and fries in the music video for Taylor’s LGBT anthem, You Need To Calm Down, earlier in this year
Reflecting on the part she played in the incident, she explained: ‘I couldn’t figure out how to learn from it. Because I wasn’t sure exactly what I did that was so wrong.
‘That was really hard for me, because I cannot stand it when people can’t take criticism. So I try to self-examine, and even though that’s really hard and hurts a lot sometimes, I really try to understand where people are coming from when they don’t like me.
‘And I completely get why people wouldn’t like me. Because, you know, I’ve had my insecurities say those things — and things 1,000 times worse.’
Despite regretting some of her ‘bitter poems’, Taylor revealed that her music allows her to communicate, as she explained that’s why she will happily sing about her relationship with Joe Alwyn, but won’t talk about it in interviews.
She explained: ’Singing about something helps you to express it in a way that feels more accurate. You cannot, no matter what, put words in a quote and have it move someone the same way as if you heard those words with the perfect sonic representation of that feeling…’
