Shweta Tripathi is one of those rare actors who escaped being stereotyped in the film industry, thanks to her varied filmography that includes films like ‘Masaan’, ‘Haraamkhor’, ‘Gone Kesh’ and others. The actress has also received accolades for the same from her fans and critics alike. ETimes recently got in touch with her for a candid chat where she exclusively opened up about her inspiration to take up challenging roles, films she wants to be a part of, and more. Excerpts… You have taken up some very challenging roles right from the start of your career, be it Shalu from ‘Masaan’ or Sandhya from ‘Haramkhor’ or Enakshi from ‘Gone Kesh’. What inspired you?I think it is a very subconscious, instinct and gut-based decision. More than me, the entire credit for this goes to my family because of the things I was exposed to while growing up and the moral compass that all of us have.
