Peters/Xinhua) MADRID, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) — Real Madrid’s irregular season continued on a dreadful night for Zinedine Zidane’s side, who not only lost 2-1 at home to Deportivo Alaves, but also saw Eden Hazard limp out of the game in the first half due to yet another injury. Alaves took the lead in just the second minute thanks to a Lucas Perez penalty after Nacho Fernandez had been penalized for handball following a corner. Madrid got into the game as the half progressed with Mariano Diaz a constant threat, while Alaves keeper Fernando Pacheco saved well from Toni Kroos. However, it was the visitors who doubled their lead early in the second half when Joselu took advantage of a disastrous pass from Thibaut Courtois to slip the ball into the empty Madrid goal. Alaves then played on the break and Courtois partly redeemed himself with a fine save from Lucas, while Joselu fired over after another counterattack.
