The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 30.34 points, or 0.11 percent, from Thursday to 26,506.97. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, increased 4.47 points, or 0.25 percent, at 1,782.72.
