Director Srinath Rajendran’s next film ‘Kurup,’ which has actor Dulquer Salmaan playing the character of one of the most-wanted criminals Sukumara Kurup, is one of the most awaited movies now. The movie is reportedly based on the true event of the 1984 murder of a film representative named Chacko, which was done by Sukumara Kurup and his accomplices. Now, we hear that the real-life wife of Chacko, Santhamma, who was pregnant at the time of Chacko’s murder, has sent a legal notice to Kurup team, demanding a pre-release screening of the film for her and her son. Apparently, they want to ensure that the film does not glorify Sukumara Kurup or degrade the late Chacko.
