In the past five years, the value-added industrial output in China has increased from 23.5 trillion yuan (about 3.63 trillion U.S. dollars) to 31.3 trillion yuan, Xiao Yaqing, minister of MIIT, said Monday. Mahindra total sales dip over 11 per cent in February

Passenger vehicles sales increased by 41 per cent to 15,391 units last month, as compared with 10,938 units in the year-ago period. In the commercial vehicles segment, the company sold 11,559 vehicles in the domestic market last month, as against 19,699 units in February 2020, a drop of 70.42 per cent. Sonalika tractor sales rise 22.5% at 11,821 units in Feb
New Delhi: Home-grown tractor major Sonalika has reported 22.49% increase in its total tractor sales at 11,821 units in February 2021. The company had sold 9,650 units in the same month last year, Sonalika said in a release. During the April-December period the company reported its highest-ever sale of 106,432 tractors, translating into 35.5% increase from the year-ago period. "With this, Sonalika has achieved a significant landmark of the fastest ever 1 lakh domestic tractor sales by any tractor brand in the Indian market since its inception," claims the company. Mumbai : Eleven more persons tested positive for coronavirus in Dharavi on Monday, taking its total figure to 4,096. A senior Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ( BMC ) official said that there are 64 active cases currently in the locality. Considered the biggest slum settlement in Asia, Dharavi has, so far, reported 3,716 recoveries. On a positive note, only one new COVID-19 positive case was reported in Mahim today. With this, the total tally in the area has reached the 5,000-mark. The region is a host to 160 active cases and has registered 4,686 recoveries. Dadar reported five new cases.
