By Kim Zarzour Richmond Hill Liberal Wed., Jan. 23, 2019 An Ontario Superior court judge has tossed out a request from a Richmond Hill assisted living facility looking for direction on how to evict a paralyzed man. Rohan Salmon, paralyzed from the chest down after a car accident in 2002, is facing eviction from Sunrise of Richmond Hill. Salmon, 49, has lived in the third floor room ever since the car in which he was a passenger rolled over three times on a Muskoka highway and left him paralyzed. In the summer of 2017, he says, he was shocked to discover the residence had increased his rent without his knowledge; he owed $18,000 in arrears and was to be evicted May 31, 2018.
