But that’s exactly what ironman Kenrick Louis did - and won. Surf life saver Louis, who is most at home in the surf and on his craft, won the annual 3 Points Challenge - a swim-run-swim-run-swim-run event. Louis just a week ago competed in the third round of the Nutri-Grain ironman series and is now training for the fourth round on Surfers Paradise in the new year. “It was more of a runners race but it was exciting to do something different,’’ Louis said. “There were a few waves and a lot of the other guys aren’t too familiar in the surf so that helped me. “They say I am the first ironman ever to win the event.’’ Kendrick Louis competing in the Nutri-Grain series.Source:Supplied RISING STAR: Soccer gun a frequent flyer EMOTIONAL: Why this netball legend broke down In other surf life saving news, Sydney Northern Beaches won the NSW Interbranch championships at Bulli over the weekend for the third year in a row.
