Google has revealed that YouTube will soon get a feature that lets viewers digitally test out the makeup that their favourite beauty gurus are reviewing in their videos. Google announced on Tuesday an upcoming YouTube tool called AR Beauty Try-On “which lets viewers virtually try on makeup while following along with YouTube creators” via machine learning and AR technology. When enabled, this feature splits a user's screen approximately in half sliding YouTube videos to the top and opening the selfie camera on the bottom. Viewers can then select from a list of products and colours to test on their digital selves and, if they like what they see, they can follow a “shop” link that directs them to the brand's website. How can small enterprises and professionals survive calamities and accidents? The following is not based just on textbook research or interviews, but I personally suffered a destructive accidental fire in one of my businesses and it was caused by the fire from a next-door neighbor’s business (which had mysteriously been allowed to operate by the fire department without any fire extinguishers, while my staff had to use up to 13 units of 10-kilo and 20-kilo fire extinguishers). Here are suggestions for all of us: Review and be sure to update your … [Read more...] about How can small businesses & professionals prepare for disasters?
Well, most of us. Even those who’ll lament the narrative’s end, but will be none the worse for wear and tear through eight seasons (make that nine years). Yeah, like Otso Diretso, plus 1. I can’t watch Episode 3’s original airing this morning, as I'll be involved in another annual ritual involving fiction and poetry. But I’ve been happily assured that Florentina Homes in Dumaguete has a cable TV local provider whose channels include HBO. And that I can even watch the 10 p.m. replay on HD at Gabby’s Bistro, with its wider screen as a Cignal recipient. So, like most of you who are GOT 8 (and Otso Diretso) fans, I should see who get killed off in the Great Battle of Winterfell. Should be quite a bloodbath, with blogging pretenders to three-eyed raven augury largely predicting that the Night King will take Game 1, and decimate Winterfell the way Thanos did the Avengers. Until his White Walkers claim a nine-dash line to include the Winterfell crypt, … [Read more...] about Who will survive ‘GOT’?
