Mumbai on Sunday reported 530 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking its cumulative total to 3,02,753. The city is now a host to 6,772 active cases. In the past 24 hours, Mumbai registered 715 discharges. With this, the total number of recoveries climbed to 2,83,850. The city's overall recovery rate is 94 per cent. However, on Sunday, the city reported seven new deaths. The death toll now stands at 11,242. While five patients had comorbidities, six were above the age of 60. Maharashtra recorded 3,081 new cases today, taking the state's total to 19,90,759. The total number recoveries surged to 18,86,469 after 2,342 patients were discharged in the past 24 hours. The state's death toll climbed to 50,738 after 50 people succumbed to the virus.
