Almost every celebrity on the red carpet wore black at this year’s Golden Globes. The stunt was t o raise awareness for Time’s Up – a movement against sexual harassment in the workplace. Now, some of the black dresses and tuxes are being auctioned off on eBay from Friday. You could also take home a Stella McCartney gown for as little as $25 (£18) in a raffle. 2018’s Golden Globes‘ red carpet had all the glamour, flashing cameras, and celebrities that it usually does, but there was one big difference – almost everyone was wearing black. DETROIT—Automakers have reason to celebrate as they gather this week at the Detroit auto show to unveil the new range of brawny trucks, high-tech cars and rugged sport-utility vehicles that will arrive in showrooms in the months ahead.They just ended 2017 with sales in the United States topping 17 million vehicles for the third year in a row, the best three-year stretch the industry has ever experienced.Spurred by low gasoline prices, Americans are snapping up trucks and sport-utility vehicles, which generate fat profits for manufacturers. Air shows, activities held to celebrate Children’s Day

Children thronged the air force’s Wing 6 at Don Mueang Airport to catch a glimpse of airshows on Saturday as activities to celebrate Children’s Day were in full swing across the country. The atmosphere at the airport was lively as children flocked to view Gripen fighters flying over the Bangkok skies.Children enjoy activities at Khon Kaen airport. January 8 in Kim Jong Un’s 34th birthday. The day hasn’t been made a national holiday, unlike the birthdays of both his father and grandfather, which are still celebrated. A North Korean expert told BI that it’s too cold and expensive to celebrate his birthday right now. Others say it could be due to growing discontent amongst his people. January 8 is Kim Jong Un’s 34th birthday – but nobody in North Korea is celebrating with him. According to the country’s official calendar, as cited by the BBC, the day is just a normal working Monday. North Korea has attempted to cover up Kim’s birthday in the past.
