The National Police chief has called on all security personnel involved in Operation Ramadniya to be on alert for any terror attacks during the Idul Fitri holidays. "In performing their duties, it is important to be able to respond rapidly and correctly in any situation that could potentially disturb public order and safety," National Police chief Gen. Badrodin Haiti said on Thursday, as quoted by Antara news agency. Officers must be prepared to anticipate terror threats, sabotage and any potentially highly threatening crimes, as well as prevent sweeping actions from community organizations, he added. All personnel also need to safeguard crucial public locations such as monetary transaction spots, toll road rest areas, gas stations, zakat distribution places and other potential hot spots of activity.
