Two cops of Mumbai Security Force (MSF) are being hailed as heroes for their prompt action and bravery that resulted in saving a man’s life. A video, shared by Western Railway on Twitter, captures the incident recorded at the Mumbai Central railway station.“Prompt & daring action by MSF staff Sh Manoj & Ashok, deployed with RPF saved life of a sr citizen who attempted suicide at Mumbai Central Station,” says the tweet posted along with the video. “His family expressed deep gratitude to them.” In the clip, a man dressed in white suddenly steps down from the platform onto the railway tracks as other passengers wait for an approaching train. RFS fears ‘megafire’ raging on Sydney’s outskirts could burn for weeks
It is understood the pilot was the only person on board when the aircraft crash landed, and that the man has survived the emergency. The crash took place at Crawford River, which is located around 90km north of Newcastle. The pilot had been hired to fight a fire burning on Jarrah Road, and is understood to be uninjured after the ordeal. The emergency comes as temperatures are set to rise across much of the country, making already perilous fire conditions even worse. The NSW Rural Fire Service has warned the massive Gospers Mountain “megafire” raging near Sydney’s northwestern outskirts is going to take “many weeks” to put out. Shruti to portray Nira Patel, a young woman in Delhi whose waitress job serves as a cover for a dangerous double life as a trained assassin. Shruti Haasan has joined the cast of USA Network's upcoming series Treadstone, which will be based in the Jason Bourne universe. The studio had ordered a pilot for the series in April and later greenlit the project, reports Deadline. Shruti, 33, joins Jeremy Irvine and Brian J Smith on the show, which recently started production in Budapest. She will portray Nira Patel, a young woman in Delhi whose waitress job serves as a cover for a dangerous double life as a trained assassin. Ben Smith, a producer of the Bourne franchise, has co-created the series with Tim Kring. The show will follow Operation Treadstone, the fictional CIA black ops programme that created super spy Jason Bourne, which Matt Damon played in four films.
