The book is called "Korea: The Impossible Country" and the author is Briton Daniel Tudor (31). Tudor previously distinguished himself with an article about Korean beer north and south of the border and is now a restaurateur. "I had a chance to visit Pyongyang and taste the beer there when President Roh Moo-hyun was in office, and was simply comparing the two types of beers," Tudor told the Chosun Ilbo. He said he does not find South Korean beer particularly bad, just that he longed for some variety.
