PBA IMAGES Meralco coach Norman Black has spoken about the difficulty of facing a team with a twice-to-beat cushion. San Miguel Beer coach Leo Austria doesn’t want his team to listen. As far as the coach of the defending champion Beermen is concerned, there is no second crack when his team faces the Bolts in their quarterfinal showdown in the PBA Philippine Cup in Smart Clark Giga City. “We’ll treat this as a knockout game,” he said on the eve of the Friday showdown against Meralco at 4 p.m. at Angeles University Foundation powered by Smart 5G. Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone, meanwhile, expects a “grind-it-out” battle against Rain or Shine in the later game and won’t rely on his squad’s playoff cushion either, even if the Kings will be matched up against the bottom-seeded squad of the playoff roster. “One versus eight sounds like a lot of separation, [but] there is very little that actually separates us,” Cone said. Sotto had to complete the mandatory 14-day quarantine upon his arrival in Manila last May 31 from the United States. “It’s okay. It’s been really really good. The guys in this team are very fun guys to be with on and off the court. So for me, it was very easy to adjust being with them,” Sotto said in an interview with Fiba. Familiarity plays a key factor in Sotto’s somewhat seamless transition. “Most of them, I’ve already [played with] before, and to see everybody now playing for the men’s national team, you know, it’s just a really good feeling for me,” he said. Carlos Zarate said in a statement. “The Duterte administration may deny to high heavens the blatant ... » Learn More about Duterte can’t evade justice, rights advocates say on possible ICC drug war probe

This means that the public both benefits from and is highly dependent on the palm oil industry for the various products they consume. Most Indonesian consumers, however, are unaware of the palm oil content of various consumer goods. As a consequence, they are also unaware of the impact of the industry’s exponential and rapid growth. This low public awareness is likely is due to the indirect relevance of palm oil in consumers’ daily lives, as well as the complex and multilayered production chain, which can be hard to digest. A consumer survey by MarkPlus Inc. published in 2020 found that most consumers primarily associated palm oil with cooking oils and margarines. The survey also showed that although most ... » Learn More about Why should you care about sustainable palm oil?
