The forum, the first of its kind, was organized by Nairobi-based Pan-African think-tank Africa Policy Institute (API) in partnership with China National Petroleum Corporation Economic and Technological Research Institute (CNPC ETRI), the research arm of China's biggest oil company. Attending by Chinese and African diplomats, policymakers, industry executives and scholars, the forum discussed opportunities in Africa's energy market that can be harnessed to propel the continent's growth. Video PlayerClose MOMBASA, Kenya, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers nabbed two suspects with ten pieces weighing 73 kilograms of ivory valued at 7.3 million shillings (73,000 U.S. dollars) in Samburu village in the coastal town of Kwale. The two, Charles Mweni, 32, and Tabitha Mueni 43 were arrested on Thursday evening after an operation conducted by the DCI detectives working in collaboration with Kenya Wildlife Service rangers from Mombasa and Kenya Police from Taru Police Station. "We arrested them after a tip-off from members of public and they are being held at Taru Police Station as we speak," Coast KWS Conservation Area Assistant Director Arthur Tuda told Xinhua on Friday. Abreham Isayas gave Eritrea the 1-0 lead after 10 minutes with a well taken shot. Djibouti tried to defend in numbers but the highly passing Eritrean side continued to dominate the Group A match. In the second half, Ali Suleiman netted two more goals to send Eritrea to six points on the log and second behind Uganda who have already qualified for the semifinals.
