Tech giant Google recently took down to viral apps from the Google Play Store that originated from India. These were a short-video making app called ‘Mitron’ and the recently-gone-viral ‘Remove China Apps’ application. The move caused a lot of people to question the decision behind pulling down the two applications. Surprisingly, neither the developers nor Google had provided a strong reason as to why the applications were taken down. However, we now have an official statement on the same from Google. As per Sameer Samat, Vice President, Android, and Google Play, Mitron was taken off the store because of a number of technical violations of Google’s policies. Meanwhile, the Remove China Apps application was taken down because it encourages people into removing/disabling other apps, without being a part of a verifiable security service. Coppa Italia: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus hold Inter to a draw to make final
Juventus booked a place in the Coppa Italia final after holding visitors Inter Milan to a 0-0 draw in their semi-final, second leg on Tuesday, sealing a date with either Napoli or Atalanta with a 2-1 success on aggregate. Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez had chances to get Inter back in the tie in the first half, while Cristiano Ronaldo came closest to adding to Juve's aggregate advantage in the opening period, having scored both of their goals in the first leg. After the break, Ronaldo turned on the style and was only denied another goal in the tie by two fine saves from Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic. Inter threw everything at Juve late on but veteran keeper Gianluigi Buffon and his defence stood firm to secure a spot in the showpiece match against the winners of Wednesday's semi, with Atalanta hosting Napoli after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo has faced criticism in the first season in his managerial career but his team won the ... » Learn More about Coppa Italia: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus hold Inter to a draw to make final

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi added another feather to his illustrious cap as he bagged the best “men’s player of the decade” award on Sunday. The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) named Messi on the top position ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, and Andres Iniesta. The organization conducted a poll including its members from other 150 countries around the world to find the best men’s player over the last decade. It also picked the best player for each continent. While Ronaldo picked up the award for the UEFA region, it was Messi who triumphed globally – as well as amongst the CONMEBOL nations. The 33-year-old had a fabulous run in the last decade, picking up six La Liga titles , five Copa del Rey trophies, two Champions Leagues, and four Ballon d’Ors.
