Contact tracing is at the core of our response to Covid-19. But the process involved a lot of legwork and was laborious to say the least, taking 6 to 7 days to trace one contact. But now the Contact Tracing App developed by the in-charge of State War Room reduces the work to just 24 hours. This app have been given to the Haryana government to assist them in Covid management and contact tracing. Once a patient tests positive, people who were in contact with the patient for the last 14 days are noted and updated in the app. This app will then alert other people who will trace and track contacts in other districts and state. Then the contacts are tested, stamped and quarantined, if they test negative.
