Telangana government on Monday launched the Covid-19 vaccination program for the general public. During this phase, all people above the age of 60 years and those between 45-59 years of age and are suffering from comorbidities, will be given the vaccine, according to Director Public Health G. Srinivas Rao. On the first day, vaccination is open at 91 centers with a maximum capacity of 200 beneficiaries each and those have already registered through Cowin app will be allowed. Around 18,000 people will be eligible to get vaccinated on day 1. “There will be 46 private and 45 government hospitals involved in the launch program on Monday.
