A government panel examined the records of employees surveyed by Labour Bureau’s quarterly enterprises surveys and mapped it with EPFO's subscribers and found “unexplained variations” between the two. Illustration: Dominic Xavier/Rediff.com A government-appointed panel led by former chief statistician TCA Anant has recommended doing away with the quarterly surveys on jobs provided by the Labour Bureau due to its poor coverage and quality. Alternatively, it has suggested if substantial improvements in the Labour Bureau’s quarterly enterprises surveys (QES) are made, a first-of-its-kind Employment Index can be formed on the lines of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) and the Consumer Price Index (CPI). TSLPRB SI results 2018: Telangana state-level police recruitment board (TSLPRB) has announced the result of TSLPRB SI Exam 2018 on the official website - tspolice.gov.in and tslprb.in. The preliminary examination was conducted to recruit Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspector (SI) of Police (Civil) and other equivalent posts. It was a direct recruitment to selected eligible candidates for 18,428 posts to be filled in Telangana police department. As many a 1,77,992 candidates sat for the exam that was conducted last month, out of which 1,10,635 candidates managed to clear the exam.
