The ATS on Thursday arrested a man from Maharashtra who was wanted in a fake Australian visa case and absconding for the past nine years. The ATS team led by PI C R Jadav arrested Dharmendra alias Dharmesh Ramnagina Bhagat from Malad in Maharashtra. The ATS had arrested brothers Niranjan and Prakash Kalidas Malaviya, residents of Mumbai, after a raid in Ahmedabad on January 10, 2012 in a case pertaining to forging of fake visas. Officials said stamps, forged documents and other items worth Rs 9.29 lakh had been seized from them. The two went around Mumbai in a car with a board stuck reading 'Joint Secretary, pretending to be government officials. While they ended up behind bars, two of their accomplices evaded capture. New H-1B rule not valid, other changes on hold for 60 days

Infosys CFO says localisation to continue under Biden era
Joe Biden on Wednesday became the 46th US President and hopes from his administration are running high including more predictability in work visas rules. ETCFO caught up with India’s top IT firm Infosys CFO Nilanjan Roy to discuss his expectations from the new leader. The finance veteran said Infosys’ business model remains firm, and the company will continue to ramp up its localisation drive irrespective of the change in administration.
