L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRH) announced on Saturday that henceforth its services would be availabe from 6.30 a.m instead of 6 a.m.However, the last service starting from any of the directions — L.B.Nagar/Miyapur for Corridor One or the Red Line and Nagole/Raidurg for Corridor Three or the Blue Line would be at 11 p.mPassengers should also note that the last train leaving the Ameerpet interchange station for both corridors would be around 11.30 pm. New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Tuesday that the Rajiv Chowk Metro station would remain closed till 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday (June 21) because of the events and activities related to the observation of International Day of Yoga (IDY) in the area close to it. A DMRC statement said, "As advised by Delhi Police, the entry and exit at Rajiv Chowk Metro station will remain closed till 8.30 a.m. on 21st June 2017. This has been necessitated in view of the security requirements for the 'International Day for Yoga' which is being organized at Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk) on 21st June 2017." However, interchange of passengers will be available at the station for Line 3/4 (Blue Line) and Line 2 (Yellow Line) and vice versa during this period. Total voters in Maharashtra have increased to 8.9 crore following the recent electoral revisions ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. The largest chunk of 2.1 crore voters is in the 30-39 age band. This is followed by the 40-49 category with 1.9 crore voters and then the 20-29 category with 1.7 crore electors. The 50-59 category has 1.4 crore voters. As the population ages, the number of voters declines. Registrations fall to 88.4 lakh in the 60-69 year category to 28 lakh in the 80 and above age group. Between February and August 2019, the state recorded a 21.2 lakh rise in voters when the electoral roll was revised. A closer analysis shows it is the 18-29 age category, which has driven the growth in voter registrations, accounting for 73% or 15.5 lakh rise in electors. Within this, the 20-29 age category showed the largest chunk of increased enrolments. It accounted for 9.8 lakh or 46% of the increase in voters during the seven-month span.
