GURUGRAM: The department of town and country planning on Saturday has issued a notice to the developer of BPTP Park Serene Defence Enclave in Sector 37 D for flouting the approved building plan and asked them to submit the compliance report within seven days. This comes after the residents of the society filed a complaint against the developer alleging that the surface parking as per the approved plan has not been demarcated at site. Also, the space reserved for religious building, within the society, has neither been developed nor been demarcated on the site as well.District Town Planner (enforcement) RS Batth said that the department has received complaints from residents and has sought a reply from the developer within seven days, failing which action will be initiated as per the provision of Act/Rules.The residents alleged that the builder has blatantly violated many conditions of the occupancy certificate. Defence, space departments likely to vacate spectrum for commercial 5G services

Google is initially looking at offices' spaces inside the US, but is open to do the same in other countries as well, a company official said. "Today we're announcing that we'll be opening up Google spaces to serve as mass vaccination sites, committing more than USD 150 million to promote vaccine education and equitable distribution, and making it easier for you to find where and when to get a vaccine," Pichai announced in a blog post on Monday. Chinese smartphone cos find going tough in fintech space
New Delhi: Chinese smartphone companies trying to carve a niche in the fintech space have had a tough time, possibly on account of poor consumer sentiment following Sino-Indian border tension.Xiaomi, Oppo and Realme, which launched their fintech apps Mi Pay and Mi Credit, Oppo Kash and Realme PaySa, respectively, at the start of 2020 have so far seen fewer than 1 million downloads each on Google Play Store against their user base of 20-100 million.Even in terms of transactions, they have barely made a dent. Mi Pay and Realme PaySa recorded 480,000 and 10,000 monthly transactions, respectively, throughout 2020, with minimal month-on-month growth, according to data on the National Payments Corporation of India portal. Fire warning: On Serum Institute blaze
The deadly fire in an upcoming production facility at the Serum Institute of India (SII), in Pune has sent shock waves because of the key role played by the company in producing the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covishield COVID-19 vaccine. Five workers engaged in construction have perished, and there are indications that expensive equipment has been destroyed. There is understandable concern about the accident at the SII building, which is located away from the Covishield unit, as the company, reputedly the world’s biggest vaccine manufacturer, is now an institution of global importance.
