The mandatory quarantine period for those who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus will be reduced from 14 days to 7 days, Thailand’s Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirankul said in a press conference. Those who have not been vaccinated, but have a medical certificate declaring that they are Covid-free, will be required to quarantine to 10 days, Anutin said, according to Reuters. The health minister says vaccinations must be administered within 3 months of travelling to Thailand. Travellers must still show negative Covid-19 test results issued within 72 hours of their departure to Thailand. No more quarantine for R9 bus travelers
PAGADIAN CITY: Bus passengers traveling to Zamboanga City from various Zamboanga Peninsula provinces are no longer required to undergo quarantine as long as they show a negative RT-PCR or swab for Covid-19 test result. In addition, senior citizens and children will be allowed to commute as long as they have complete requirements. Rafael Derrick Evangelista 3rd, head of the Zamboanga City Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT), said the bus passengers “do not have to undergo quarantine, but they have to inform their barangay (village) leaders where they would reside in Zamboanga City for monitoring purposes.” He added that there will be no straight bus travel to and from Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod and other cities outside Region 9. MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has warned the public against scams related to the entry of foreigners in the Philippines. SINGAPORE: More than 150,000 teachers and other workers in the education sector will be offered COVID-19 vaccinations from Wednesday (Mar 10). The exercise is in line with the Ministry of Health's (MOH) efforts to extend vaccination to workers who offer essential services, said the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Grab Food Delivery App Reduces Fees for Merchants in Thailand
Grab Food has reduced the commission fee collected from food merchants from 35% to 30% to accommodate rising demand for food delivery in amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The move became effective yesterday as a part of “GrabCares”, a campaign. “Starting from April, GrabCares is meant to alleviate the impact of the pandemic on the community,” Tarin Thaniyavarn, country head of Grab Food Thailand told the Bangkok Post . The commission fee reduction will not apply to merchants operating in GrabKitchen, a cloud kitchen run by Grab. This will help reduce the financial burden on merchant partners, Mr Tarin said.
