PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry authorised mayors, local council presidents and local council enforcement authorities to compound those who do not comply with the standard operating procedure (SOP) at Ramadan bazaars. Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this came into effect on Wednesday (April 14). "The National Security Council has received complaints about non-compliance of SOP at several Ramadan bazaars. "This is a serious matter when the Covid-19 infectivity rate is still high.
