Pongal has always been a massive occasion for Tollywood since decades and several big-ticket projects queue up at the box-office to cash in on the festive advantage and holiday season. After a temporary shutdown for 8 months, the theaters have recently re-opened in the Telugu states with the mandatory regulation of 50% occupancy. This year too, as many as three Telugu films tested their fate at the ticket counters. While Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan’s KRACK has already hit the bull’s eye with the masses, Ram Pothineni’s RED and Alludu Adhurs have released today amid decent expectations and going by the early reviews, both the films seem to have packed a punch with the audience.
