Actor Prabhas took time to meet nine of his die-hard fans who won a contest which was run during the release of Saaho. Pictures from the meet-and-greet have been shared on social media. According to a statement from Prabhas’s team, some fans were flown in from California for this exclusive meet with the actor.Currently busy shooting for his upcoming Telugu film Amour, Prabhas took time off his busy schedule to meet his fans and spend quality time with them. He made sure that the fans had a good time with him.A few months ago, Prabhas had hosted a contest for his fans on Twitter and asked his fans to click a selfie with Saaho poster. The two sides, staying in almost daily contact, have also come closer to an agreement on scaling back the tariffs already in place. But rather than removing or rolling back existing levies, the focus has been on reducing the rate of the tariffs already in effect, according to officials and other people familiar with the talks. Making payments gets easier: Google Pay allows users to access loyalty cards, tickets via Gmail
CALIFORNIA [USA]: First tested earlier this year, Google Pay is now allowing some users to import their data from Gmail to gain access to loyalty cards and tickets in the payments app. The server-side update, as spotted by 9to5 Google, shows a new setting for Google Pay users on Android. The feature allows the app to pull out relevant data from their Gmail automatically and show in the payment service app. Each added pass also alerts the user that if it is removed from Gmail, it will also be removed from Google Pay. The extent to which Google has rolled out the feature to end users is not known, but it is available to users with Google Pay version 2.86 or higher on Android. ‘Global rankings of Indian varsities need improvement’
The current status of global rankings of Indian Universities need a huge improvement, said Pankaj Mittal, the Secretary General of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).She said that with more number of students seek admission in overseas universities and more graduates joining global work force, Internationalisation of Higher Education has become a necessity as well as reality of the present time. Citing QS World University Rankings, she said that in the top global 100 universities there is not a single Indian university. While in the top 200 there are only three from India and in the top 500 there are only nine Indian varsities. Also, 23 Indian universities found place in the top 1,000 list.
