Here are 5 reasons why you should upgrade to a business laptop
Whether you’re a professional or a student, it’s likely that you consider your laptop an essential tool. Even before we were locked down due to the pandemic, we brought it everywhere so we could remotely work in coffee shops and co-working spaces. Now that we’re mostly at home, we tend to use our laptops for hours—even a whole day for some—for both work and play. This is why it’s more important than ever to find a device that’s sturdy, lightweight, and has all the features we need while still being affordably priced. If you’re looking to upgrade, a business-class laptop like the HP ProBook 445 G7 powered by AMD Ryzen™ 4000 Series processors is the way to go. While lifestyle laptops are popular among creatives because of features like detachable screens and built-in styluses, business laptops are better built to handle heavy workload. Before, business laptops were usually clunky devices. They’ve gone a long way since then with portable notebooks with commercial-grade PC ... » Learn More about Here are 5 reasons why you should upgrade to a business laptop
Gatchalian to energy sector: Ensure ample power supply
SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian on Tuesday called on the energy sector to ensure uninterrupted power supply as the government continues to urge the public to stay at home. Gatchalian made the call following reports on a series of forced power outages in the Luzon grid. He cited data provided by the Department of Energy (DoE) that for the billing period February 26 to March 25, there were 15 unplanned outages due to excessive oil leaks, high turbine vibration and other technical problems. There were also seven planned outages during the period. The senator said electricity demand is usually higher during the summer months and as such, the reserve margin is thinner. He emphasized that the country cannot afford to have brownouts during this time when vaccines need to be stored in specific cold conditions or refrigerated to maintain their efficacy. The chairman of the Senate energy committee also urged power generation companies to defer to a later date any planned maintenance shutdowns ... » Learn More about Gatchalian to energy sector: Ensure ample power supply

3-legged dog missing for 10 months reunites with owner
Dylan Summers and his three-legged dog, Athena (Image: Facebook/Gateway Pet Guardians) A man has finally found his three-legged dog after she went missing about 10 months ago in Missouri, USA. Athena managed to escape from Dylan Summers’ house last February while she was recovering from amputation surgery. One of her legs was removed after she was hit by a car, as per CBS-affiliate WTSP on Jan. 2. After weeks of searching for his beloved pet, Summers eventually decided to throw in the towel last month and look for a new dog. However, while he was scrolling through an animal shelter’s website on Dec. 30, he saw his very own Athena on the page. Though she was listed under the name “Miss-a-toe,” seemingly referring to her lost limb, Summers had no doubt that the dog was Athena. He then quickly contacted the Gateway Pet Guardians shelter to inform the staff. According to the report, the center received Athena from St. Clair County Animal Control earlier in December. “It was ... » Learn More about 3-legged dog missing for 10 months reunites with owner
