She draped the hanging blooms over a white-painted wooden archway, cognizant that this was unlike any other recent assignment. In a case of art imitating life, the stylist was preparing for one of the biggest television moments of the year: the wedding of Meghan Markle. Except this would take place in Toronto, not London. And unlike the upcoming wedding of the American actress to Prince Harry, it would be held in the utmost secrecy: the nuptials of Markle’s character, the lawyer Rachel Zane, to her beau Mike Ross on the legal drama Suits. And the Archbishop of Canterbury was waiting in all his ornamental finery to officiate? And the last guest to arrive was Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II? Nope. But it was still the most wonderful wedding in the world, right? Every detail you planned-that mini jar of homemade jam at each guest’s place, or the first rollicking country wedding dance to “You Are My Sunshine,” or the fact that you asked your two beloved grandmothers to be the flower “girls” tossing rose petals as they carefully made their way up the aisle- was beyond lovely. But guests set to descend on the grounds of Windsor Castle for the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned to expect no such thing. Kensington Palace -- the official residence of Prince Harry -- told AFP Thursday that guests have been advised to bring their own picnics as only light refreshments and snacks will be served.
