KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia aims to be among the world's top 10 tourist destinations next year, said Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi.He said that the ministry has embarked on several efforts to promote Malaysia as a must-visit tourism destination and will set new strategic directions to provide a conducive environment for industry players to drive and boost tourism growth."It is our aim to improve the country's position after being ranked number 12 last year. Singapore is first in Asia Pacific and second globally on the Global Talent Competitiveness Scale (GCTI) 2018. The Straits Times When it comes to competing for talent, Singapore is again in the top spot in Asia Pacific for the fifth consecutive year, according to the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) 2018. The results were announced on April 10, during GTCI’s Asia launch event at the Insead campus in Singapore. Singapore also comes in second to Switzerland on the global scale, out of the 119 countries ranked in the annual benchmarking report, produced in partnership with The Adecco Group and Tata Communications.
