The company, which reports in U.S. currency, says it recorded a $138-million provision for income taxes that represented a $343-million increase from the same time last year, when Valeant recorded a tax benefit. MANILA – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Thursday said there will be no extension of the deadline for filing of income tax returns (ITRs) after it was moved to Monday, April 16. The deadline was moved because the original date, April 15, falls on a Sunday, BIR director II for NCR Marina De Guzman said. “Do not wait for April 16, and those availing the e-filing, baka sabihin nila pag nagkasabay-sabay nagbog-down ang system," De Guzman said.
