Presented by Heineken, UCL's main sponsor, Puyol met with fans and journalists at Lotte Shopping Avenue in South Jakarta. The former defender won the "big ear" twice during his time with Barcelona, beating Manchester United 3-1 in the 2011 Champions League final held at Wembley Stadium, which was a repeat of the 2009 final, the fourth European Cup the illustrious club won. While I was in Europe, I received an email from David Bley from the communications department of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, who learned from La Liga Philippines representative Almudena Gomez that I would be in the area and interested to visit football clubs. The lingering after-effects of the Fifa World Cup 2018 on the Premier League could be significant if the likes of Jose Mourinho are to be believed. The World Cup was a source of joy for the English football team. The Three Lions went all the way to the semi-final for only the third time in its history. In doing so they sparked a lot of adulation for its performances. However, the upcoming season of the Premier League begins less than six weeks after the World Cup final with Manchester United and Leicester City will be playing the opening match on August 11.
