In a move to bring better exposure to the students in the state, the Maharashtra technical education department has launched an initiative that will give a platform to the students to interact with top state administrators including IAS officers. The new initiative by the technical education department will be for students who can pay just Re 1 per day for listening to and interacting with these serving IAS officers. These invitees will give students advice about the Union Public Service Examination ( UPSC ) and their area of expertise. The initiative focuses rural students who are unable to get the kind of exposure that urban students get.
