The Ministry of Finance confirmed on Tuesday that the World Bank has approved a five-year funding plan for China to support the multilateral lender's engagement in the country's structural and environmental reforms. The World Bank will lend China $1 billion to $1.5 billion through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development annually from 2020 to 2025. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) will maintain its financing of $80 million to $1.2 billion annually during the same period, according to a statement on the ministry's website. "China is still a developing country. Its development needs World Bank support, and the Bank's development also needs China's contribution," the Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday. Aero India 2019: Two Rafale fighter planes of the French Air Force on Wednesday landed in Bengaluru for one of the world’s top aerospace exhibitions – Aero India 2019. As per reports, top Indian Air Force (IAF) officers including IAF Deputy Chief Air Marshal Vivek Chaudhari will fly the plane during Aero India show. Makers of these world-class fighter jets Dassault Aviation would also display the business jet, Falcon 2000s and other French aircrafts such as Airbus A33-900, Airbus C295 and Airbus H135 along with H145 helicopters. The five-day airspace show will kick start on February 20 and will commence on February 24. The invitation for global bids aims to attract a team of the top planners and paleontologists from around the world," said Qin Changde, head of Yunyang County. China to become world’s largest theme park market by 2020: report
Video PlayerClose SHANGHAI, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- China is slated to become world's largest theme park market by 2020, when the number of tourists is expected to exceed 230 million, according to a fresh report by U.S. engineering firm AECOM. The number of tourists to Chinese theme parks have seen an average annual growth of 13 percent in the past decade, and reached 190 million in 2017. The number is expected to keep the double digit growth in the following years, according to the report. The report attributes the rapid growth to Chinese consumers' rising income that sparks greater demands on leisure activities, as well as more convenient public transportation systems. Despite the large number of total attendance, the report also finds that China has a markedly lower per-capita attendance compared with developed economics.
